The s9+ robot vacuum is the best we've ever tested for cleaning carpets and hard floors. It has the most powerful suction power of any robot vacuum cleaner available. It also does a great job at removing pet hair. It can be programmed to make multiple passes or adjust suction levels based on the size of the room, something that we haven't seen on other models. The app lets you alter how it works and even decide when it begins working so you can be within the room while it's whirring away.

Smart mapping generates a precise home map that can assist the S9+ in navigating efficiently and plan routes. It can also self-empty so you don't have be there to help. It also recharges itself mid-clean. In our testing the s9+ was able to maneuver around obstacles like tables and power cables with ease and did not lose its charge or became stuck. It does not have the hazard-avoidance features of recent models, and could get caught in tassels of rug and other obstructions it is unable to see.

Unlike most circular robots, the s9+ has a flat front and has a squared front that helps it to get into corners more easily than round models. As with other iRobot cleaners, the j7+ identifies obstacles that block its path and is able to avoid them. It also has what iRobot calls Cliff Detect technology, which keeps it from falling down the stairs. It's an excellent security feature for families with kids.

The j7+'s onboard bin is small, which means you will need to return it to the dock to empty it often in the event that your home is big. However the j7+ is incredibly easy to store. The Clean Base that comes with it functions as charging dock, an external dustbin and an internal bin for the j7+ to put dirt into.

This sleek robot vacuum cleaner and sonic mops carpets and hard floors at the same time. Matrix Clean Navigation is also included, which uses a grid matrix to cover your entire home. This model is stunning on floors that are clean, but it struggles on low-pile flooring. It also struggles to hold large amounts of debris when the dirt compartment gets filled. It is durable and has a long-lasting battery life. You can extend this by using the energy efficient Eco mode'.

The Shark IQ is compatible with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it using your voice. The Eufy 11s is a compact elegant robot vacuum that gives an excellent value for the money. It can remove pet hair easily and has a large dirt compartment, and can run for a long time on one charge. It's not easy to maintain and has some issues with navigation. It does not have voice control or a companion app but has a simple to use remote. It doesn't let you know when the bin is full. You'll need to check it frequently.

The eufy comes with many advantages over the Bobsweep Bob Pro however, in certain areas, it's not as efficient as the iRobot Roomba 694. The iRobot Roomba 694 is better constructed, has fewer components to maintain, and a HEPA-filter that lasts longer on one charge, and provides better cleaning capabilities for floors with no floor high-pile, low-pile, and high-pile. It also has an improved navigation system that can navigate around obstacles, and more advanced automation features such as boundary stripes.

While the eufy is a decent choice, I recommend the iRobot Roomba 900 Series for most users. The iRobot Roomba 900 Series is easier to maintain, better built, has a bigger dustbin and is more efficient on all surfaces. It's also quicker to recharge and provides longer battery life.

The eufy is superior to the ILIFE a4s but not as good as high-end models such as the Roborock S7 maxV Ultra. The iRobot is built better and has a larger dust bin and has lower cost-per-use. It also has a smarter navigation algorithm that can navigate around obstacles and more advanced automation capabilities, like boundary strips. The iRobot also absorbs pet hair more efficiently, and it's easier to maintain than the eufy.
